Sushi Kaif.
Built around the order.
Two city websites, delivery rules and a kitchen printer connection for a restaurant in Germany.

More than
a restaurant website.
Sushi Kaif started in Ibbenbüren and later opened a second location in Rheine. The online setup needed to reflect both locations.
The restaurant needed a clear way for customers to choose their city, place an order and see the relevant delivery conditions. The order also needed to reach the kitchen through an external service.
The right city.
The right website.
The main domain is used to choose a city. Each location has its own website, with the current city displayed and an option to switch.
The details that make
ordering practical.
Online checkout
Products, the basket and checkout form a single ordering flow on each city website.
Delivery by postcode
Delivery zones use postcodes and localities, with configurable delivery conditions for the zones.
Clear order conditions
Delivery fees, a free-delivery threshold and an overall minimum order were configured as part of the setup.

An order has a job
to do after checkout.
The online process was connected to a kitchen printer through a third-party order forwarding service.
- 01Website order
- 02Third-party service
- 03Kitchen printer
Simplified order route. The connection uses an external service and the equipment provider’s technology.
One contact.
Across the moving parts.

I worked on the online ordering setup, the city websites, delivery logic and checkout configuration.
I also helped select and purchase the kitchen printer, took part in connecting the external forwarding service, coordinated technical questions with the equipment provider and checked the setup.
The delivered solution brings together the customer-facing website and the restaurant’s order handling.
